Senior Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer

Adriana Velasco was appointed Chief Nursing Officer in August 2024, after serving in an interim role. She is a seasoned healthcare leader with over 25 years of hospital leadership experience. Prior to her current position, Ms. Velasco held the role of Chief Operations Officer at Joseph P. Addabbo in New York, overseeing five Federally Qualified Health Clinics across the five boroughs. She also served as Chief Nursing Officer at Dignity Health St. Bernardine in the Inland Empire and Director of Patient Care Services at Kaiser Permanente in both Baldwin Park and Santa Clara.

In her capacity as Chief Nursing Officer, Ms. Velasco has responsibility for nursing operations and provides oversight of all clinical nursing areas.

Since 2020, she has been an active board member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Hispanic Nurses Association.

Ms. Velasco earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, as well as dual master's degrees in Nursing and Public Health from California State University, Long Beach.
