Brian J. Ostick, MD
Director of Emergency Services, Valley Presbyterian Hospital
Brian J. Ostick, MD, FACEP, is the Director of Valley Presbyterian Hospital's Emergency Services department and a VPH physician adviser. Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Ostick has also attained certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Dr. Ostick is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP) and has been published in Western Journal of Emergency Medicine (for which he is a peer reviewer) and Current Sports Medicine Reports.
After graduating cum laude from University of Notre Dame, Dr. Ostick earned his medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where he won the William C. Davis Prize in Emergency Medicine. He conducted his postgraduate training and residency at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware, where he was Chief Resident and Trauma Resident of the Year in emergency medicine. Dr. Ostick has participated in medical outreach programs in Jamaica and the Ecuadorian Amazon. An active outdoorsman, his interests include wilderness medicine, surfing and competing in marathons.

Sanjay V. Vadgama, MD is the CEO of San Fernando Hospitalist. He leads Valley Presbyterian Hospital's Hospitalist Program, as well as the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Dr. Vadgama specializes in Critical Care Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease.
Dr. Vadgama earned his medical degree from the University College London Medical School in London, United Kingdom. He conducted his residency at UCLA – West Los Angeles VA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and completed his postgraduate training in Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California. He has been a member of Valley Presbyterian Hospital’s Medical Staff since March 2007.
